Maybe you found your way here because you were searching for custom Showit website design, or maybe you have simply reached that strange point in business where everything has grown except the website. Your work is better. Your standards are higher. Your clients have changed. You have learned what you are wonderful at, what you never want to offer again, and exactly how quickly you can recognize an inquiry that is going to require seventeen emails before anyone has even signed a contract.
And still, there is your website. Doing its best, bless it, but belonging to a version of your business you have already outgrown.
If that is you, I want you to know that I see more than a website that needs redesigning. I see the years underneath it. I see the decisions nobody applauded, the late nights when you were trying to make something work, the first client who trusted you before you had much proof, and the courage it took to keep becoming better at something while also trying to build an actual business around it. I know there is a great deal of life hiding behind five neat navigation links.
That is the part I would love to design for.
I Want to Design for What You Have Actually Built
There is something beautiful about the moment a business stops feeling hypothetical. You are no longer asking yourself whether you can do this. You have done it. People have trusted you, paid you, referred you, returned to you, and told other people about the way you made them feel. Somewhere along the way, the thing you began with a lot of hope and perhaps a slightly questionable first logo became your livelihood.
I think that deserves to be handled with care.
When I work on custom Showit website design, I am not interested in simply giving an old business a more fashionable outfit. I want to understand what has changed. I want to know what you have become known for, what your best clients appreciate about you, what you now notice instinctively because you have spent years practicing your craft, and where the business is trying to go next.
Maybe you are a wedding photographer whose photographs have become unmistakably yours, but your website could still belong to almost anyone with a camera and a fondness for serif type. Maybe you are a planner whose client experience has become incredibly refined while your website is still describing your work in the language you used when you were trying to book absolutely anyone. Maybe you are a coach, creative, beauty professional, consultant, or real estate expert whose work has acquired depth and confidence that your online presence has never quite learned how to communicate.
You are not imagining that disconnect.
Sometimes your work really has become better than the way your website introduces it.
I Want Your Website to Understand You Before It Tries to Sell You
Before I decide what your homepage needs, I want to know what matters to you. I want to hear the story behind the offer, the detail you refuse to compromise on, the part of your process clients never see but benefit from constantly. I want to know what kind of work makes you feel energized rather than depleted and which clients leave you thinking, I could happily do more of this.
Those answers matter because websites are not simply collections of information. They shape how someone understands your business before you ever have the opportunity to join the conversation.
Imagine someone discovering you on a Tuesday evening while you are somewhere else entirely. Perhaps you are finishing dinner with people you love. Maybe you are walking the dog, putting your child to bed, reading something that has nothing to do with business, sitting outside with coffee, going to Pilates, planning a trip, cooking slowly, calling your mother, or simply being unavailable without feeling guilty about it.
Meanwhile, your website is working.
It is showing the work you are proudest of. It is explaining your approach. It is helping the right person understand what makes you different. It is answering the questions she needs answered and giving her enough confidence to take the next step without requiring you to be standing by your inbox ready to personally prove the value of your business.
I love that idea.
Not because I think a website should become a tiny automated salesperson aggressively chasing people around the internet. Please, no. But because I think the business you founded with passion should eventually become capable of carrying some of its own weight.
You should not have to hold every piece of it forever.
Because I Want You to Have Time for the Things You Love, Too
There is a version of entrepreneurship we seem to praise very easily: always available, always producing, always booked, always growing. The calendar is full, the notifications never quite stop, and somehow exhaustion becomes evidence that things are going well.
I want something softer and better for you than that.
I want you to have excellent work and a life you actually get to experience. I want you to make good money without needing to make yourself endlessly accessible. I want your clients to value your care without believing they own all of it. I want you to close your laptop and genuinely be finished for the day. I want you to take the trip. Have lunch slowly. Spend an afternoon somewhere beautiful. Make things that do not need to become content. Be with the people you love without mentally composing the email you still have to send.
You began your business because something mattered to you. Perhaps it was freedom. Creativity. Family. Independence. Purpose. A desire to make something of your own. The ability to use a gift you knew you had. Maybe the reason has changed over the years, but I doubt you started all of this because your lifelong dream was to spend Sunday evening fixing mobile spacing.
A thoughtfully designed website cannot give you an entire life of ease. I would never insult your intelligence by pretending five pages and some excellent typography possess that kind of supernatural authority.
But it can help.
It can explain while you are away. It can filter while you are sleeping. It can answer questions before they become emails. It can help someone understand the value before they ask you to justify the price. It can make your best work visible instead of requiring you to personally point people toward it every time.
Your website should perform for the work you founded with passion.
Not replace you.
Support you.
I Want You to Feel Proud When You Send the Link

Le Palais Luxury Salon Suites in Virginia
There is a small thing I hear from women all the time that says much more than they realize: the apology before the link.
“I know my website needs work.”
“I’m in the middle of updating it.”
“My portfolio is much better now.”
“Don’t look too closely at the mobile version.”
Sometimes she laughs when she says it, but underneath the joke is a tiny disconnect between what she knows about the quality of her work and what she knows the other person is about to see.
I want to take that away.
I want you to send your website the way you send the address to a beautiful place you already know is wonderful. No explanation required. No frantic little disclaimer following five seconds later. No worry that someone will look at an outdated page and misunderstand the level you are actually operating at.
Just the link.
Because your website should make you feel represented.
Perhaps that is a slightly unusual word for design, but it is the one I mean. Represented. Seen accurately. Not made into a shinier, more luxurious internet character who bears only a passing resemblance to you. I want your website to feel like your business after it has been listened to carefully.
And If You Are at the Beginning, I See You Too
Not every woman reading this has spent five or ten years building her business. Some of you are much closer to the beginning. You have the idea, the taste and the determination, but there are still parts you are discovering as you go.
I love that season too.
There is so much unnecessary pressure to either look wildly successful from day one or resign yourself to looking unfinished until you have somehow “earned” better design. I do not believe in either.
You do not need custom website design before you have enough business for a designer to meaningfully design around. Sometimes the wiser choice is to let your offers develop, learn your clients, create better work and discover what you actually want your business to become.

Julia – Showit Website Template by the Closers Society
But beginning thoughtfully is different from beginning carelessly.
That is why I created The Closers Society Showit website templates. They are for the woman who wants a beautiful, strategic place to begin without pretending she is in a season she has not reached yet. A good template gives your ideas structure. It gives your work room. It saves you from inventing an entire website from a blank screen while also trying to learn everything else involved in running a business.
You can begin beautifully.
Then you can go live your life and build something worth growing into.
This Is What I Hope Your Website Gives Back to You
Of course, I hope your website brings inquiries. I hope the right people discover it through Google, recommendations and those wonderful internet rabbit holes that begin with one search and somehow end with someone deciding you are exactly who she has been looking for.
I hope it helps your business grow.
But I also hope it gives something back.
I hope it gives you confidence when you send the link. I hope it gives you fewer conversations with people who were never going to value your work. I hope it gives your pricing a stronger introduction. I hope it gives potential clients clarity before they reach you. I hope it gives you back small pockets of time because your website has already answered what you used to explain manually.
Mostly, I hope it gives you the feeling that the business is beginning to support you, too.
Because I know how much women give to the things they build.
The care. The thought. The problem solving. The late-night ideas. The details no client will ever know were considered. The courage required to attach a price to something deeply personal and then send the proposal anyway.
I do not want your business to simply keep asking for more.
I want some of it returned to you.
More time.
More peace around the work.
More of the clients you genuinely enjoy.
More confidence in what you charge.
More mornings where the first thing you think about is not what still needs to be fixed.
More room for the people, places and ordinary little pleasures you were building all of this to have time for in the first place.
And somewhere in the middle of that life, I want your website quietly doing its job.
For the Woman I Would Love to Design For
If your business has become more thoughtful, more specific and more beautiful than the website currently holding it, that is the woman I would love to meet inside The Closers Atelier.
Not because I think you need to become someone new.
You have done enough becoming.
I would rather listen carefully to what is already here: the work, the standards, the story, the ambitions, the things your clients love, and the future you are trying to make room for. Then we can build a custom Showit website that reflects all of it with the level of thought it deserves.
And if you are reading this much earlier in your story, I hope you take your time. Choose a thoughtful Showit website template. Make it yours. Publish it. Let it support you while you become clearer, better and more certain about what this business is meant to be.
There will be time for everything else.
For now, I hope you build work you are proud of without disappearing inside of it. I hope your business becomes successful without requiring every piece of you in exchange. I hope you make time for whatever makes you feel most like yourself outside of your work.
And I hope, when you are ready, your website becomes one of the things helping you do that.
With love,
Chell
